Hello Happy SPRING! and shopping haul!

Hello my lovely's!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! Mines was fab!

First of all you may have noticed a big change...my layout I have been playing with it for a while now and have finally found the "one". I think this suits me and my style down to a T and its perfect! I hope you all like it to leave me a wee comment on your opinions!

I had the first of my friends 16th's yesterday and it was amazing! I had rushed around the shops yesterday morning trying to find some lovely goodies to wear and I wasn't disappointed! So as promised I have a haul. I also popped into Glasgow today and picked up a ABSOLUTE bargain that I couldn't resist! (I picked up lots of bargains this weekend!) More about that later but!

So my outfit looked like this....

The dress I am wearing I bought in Dorothy Perkins sale it was reduced to £17 from £25 I belive. The heels that I am wearing are from asda and I purchased them last year for £15. The Jewelary I am wearing is

The blue bracelet is from Primark and was only £1 along with the ring which was also £1 the earrings are from DP also and were again £1....Told you bargain weekend!!!

The make up I am wearing is mainly MUA as I went a little crazy in Superdrug! The things I purchased were

I took my friend Julz's advice and purchased some of MUA's eye shadows including there 12 neutral colour palliate which I find just as good as any Urban Decay colours and for only £3 well its another bargain! I also purchased 2 of their Trio eye shadows which I am in love with! I believe they are £2.50 each and they have quite a few to choose from but I got the "Chocolate box and Pink Sorbet" ones. They are beautiful and very pigmented, they come with a little guide on where to apply the colours on the back which is helpful even though I tend to do my own thing. I also picked up a black eyeliner pencil which I love as it has a in-built sharpener on the lid which is so compact and handy!

The reason I popped into superdrug was to see if the Revlon lip butters had been released here and to pick up the MUA BB cream, sadly I'm still waiting the arrival of the lip butters but managed to pick up some BB cream and so far so good! I have wore it twice now and the coverage is really good, I picked up the light colour by mistake but am glad I done so as this colour is perfect to my skin tone. Once I know the product a little better I will do a full review on it.

As you can see in the picture I also picked up a vented brush as I have been watching some hair tutorials for ideas for my hair for the wedding so required this brush to do some of the styles.

Oka so its time for my biggest bargain of this weekend! So I popped into Glasgow today with my mum as I was needing shoes and my mum a dress for the wedding, sadly I didn't pick up any shoes but instead picked up one of the prettiest summer/party dresses ever!

So the dress is from coast, this is a shop that I adore as the dresses are just beautiful...ashamed the prices aren't pretty on my cash but!...WELL all apart from this one......

This dress is just perfect for me its 1950's styled and strapless but came with a strap...so the story continues...The dress was marked down from an original £160 to........£45 which was a bargain in itself! But when I noticed it only had one strap was a bit disappointed so me the bargain hunter asked at the checkout would they be able to do anything for the missing strap. When the girl replied "Well its the only one in stock" I was a little disappointed until she replied "We could give you it for £40 but?" I grabbed at the opportunity to own a coast dress that should be £120 pounds dearer! I think I really will get my wear out of this dress this year and all ready plan on wearing it to my 16th birthday dinner with my family!

Well I hope everyone else had a good weekend like me! I'm off to snuggle down and watch some titanic and well done Matthew for winning dancing on Ice he was amazing loved both him and Chico this series but happy Matthew won :)!

So did anyone else get some amazing bargains at the weekend????

I've got a spring in my step! And shopping haul!

Hello my lovely's!

How are we all??? Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend! Well I think springs finally reached Scotland!
I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting frequently but I promise I am trying to! I am aiming to try and post every Sunday and at least 2 day's a week but studying has taken over so I do apologise! I would also like to say thanks to all my new followers! |Every time I seem to go on the number increases so thanks!

A Spring Is In My Step!
Make up is: Benifit tinted moisturiser in shade light
MUA black eye shadow used for lining
and philosophy's toasted marshmallow lip gloss over benifit's jing a ling lipstick

So yesterday I headed off to the Capital for a spot of shopping, I am going to my cousins wedding in 3 weeks time and had to get my outfit sorted! This was the main reason I went to visit my favourite shop.  I ended up getting the dress that I had been eyeing up for weeks now from my favourite shop on this planet...Jojo's Boutique! If you are ever in Edinburgh you must check this little shop out or check out their website http://www.ladyjojosboutique.com/! It sells vintage 1950's styled dresses and since I am a huge vintage fan I just had to visit it!

This is the dress I got (there is a petticoat under it to show what it looks like better and cardigan also they are not from the same shop)

I don't think this picture gives the dress any favours but I promise that I will post a picture of me wearing it at the wedding. The dress has a floral print with red flowers and green leafs on a white background I haven't managed to get anything to go along with it yet so more shopping hauls are guaranteed!

The next shop I popped into was Zara, I never usually venture into this particular shop as I always find the price a little over my budget but since I have been saving I decided to have a look! And I am so silly!  I don't know why on earth I ever thought that to be honest! Some of there thing's are a Little over my budget but I managed to pick up 2 items which I adore and came in at under £10! I picked up the white basic cardigan which is shown with the dress above and on the picture below and a navy basic long racer back with a zip vest. I browsed the shop and had a look at the sale section and found both items and was pleasantly surprised that the majority of the items were Large which was perfect for me! I love both items and they are nice together and the white cardigan goes perfectly with my dress!

I also popped into LaSenza as I needed a strapless bra to wear with my dress since it is a halter neck. I ended up coming out the shop with 3 for only £20 which was an amazing bargain as the 3 together would have cost £60!

I also popped into primark and picked up a few things. I must say I am absolutely loving the Primark through in Edinburgh the variety in clothing is huge and with 4 floors of women's clothing no wonder! Primarks new spring/summer clothing is amazing right now with "copy's" of high end clothes the only difference being the price! i do feel the quality of their clothes has decreased recently but at the price  I can't really argue! Although in saying this  I picked up a few holiday clothes including: A pair of long denim shorts and long chino blue shorts along with a white blouse which are all perfect for my holidays.

I also picked up 3 pairs of shoes since I fell in love with all of them! And I have sadly has to fling out all of my other flat shoes as I have wore them to death! I really love these 3 pairs as they go with just about everything in my wardrobe! also picked up a pack of pastel coloured hair bands and bobbles because I loved the spring colours!

Finally the last place I picked stuff up in was Boots and I only picked up 1 thing :( But it was my amazing hand food so I'm not that sad!

So that's all for tonight's post I hope you's all enjoyed! And I hope you all had a lovely Mother's day! I'm off to watch the rest of Dancing on Ice with my mama!

Weekend away!

Hello my lovelies!

So how was everyone's weekend!?

I had an amazing break away at an outdoor activity centre with my friends at the weekend and to make it even better I done over 12 hours of studying and didn't even realise! hopefully all that hard work will pay off in my exams which are only 5 weeks away! Aggg! :O

But back to the weekend! So i started off by heading to school on saturday at 9 in the morning for some studying until lunch, after lunch we were straight back into more classes until 4 o'clock when we we headed off to the activity centre.

I have been to the centre 4 times previously so knew the drill. After unpacking we headed for dinner then back into studying for 2 hours. We then got into our party gear for a karaoke (My school friends know how to party!) I went with one of my blogger friends sophie rose check her blog out! She's adorable and is one of my close friends from school.
As I go to a catholic school we had a mass as our priest came up to celebrate our weekend fun with us. He also knows how to party!

We stayed up to the early hours of Sunday morning (something which I really regret!) chatting and having great fin with my friends. On Sunday we only studied for half the day and done outdoor activities for the rest.

Usually it would be raining heavy in Scotland but we were extremely luck with the weather as the sun came put and the temperature rose which shows summers coming! We took part in 2 outdoor activities one being the flying fox and the other a midnight trail.

The midnight trail was the best by far and I don't think I've ever laughed, screamed and sung so much in my life before! The trail involves you wearing a pair of blacked out goggles and a rope which you follow the whole way round a course. There is a variety of different obstacles which you have to go through. The course is fun as you are with your friends holding onto their shoulder all the while. The best part was when you take your goggles off to reveal you are covered from head to toe in mud!

All in all I had an amazing weekend! If anyone wants me to put up how I study or study tips don't hesitate to ask!

Also I thought that I'd do a quick mention about my favourite blogger of the month (well since I started blogging) it goes to the beautiful Jasmine - barbie-bombshell.blogspot.com I really love this girl she's really become a role model to me after reading her weight loss story. I myself am not your healthy average weight person as I carry extra weight and am trying to eat and be more healthy by keeping active (if you would like me to post some stuff about that leave some comments below or email me MissMeghanxox@gmail.com) I wouldn't have discovered her of she hadn't been one of my very first followers! And that I am very thankful! So go check her out She is lovely and I hope you might like her as much as I do!

So thats all for me tonight hope yours all have a nice night I'm off to catch up on the vampire diaries!

Weekend Away!

Hello my lovely’s,
How are we all?! I can’t believe my followers have finally started to rise! :) Can’t quite believe how quick this week went in!  I feel like I’ve hardly sat down and now after a busy (and very) stressful week I can finally sit down and do a little update!
When I logged on I was shocked that my followers were up to 16 so thank-you after a busy week it’s really cheered me up to see that I’ve got a few new followers and because of that I am trying to update more often... (Hopefully).
So I am off on a “Study Weekend” with some of my friends and school this weekend hence I thought I would put up a “What to take in your overnight… (Health & Beauty)”. I am going on an activities/study break since I am now nearing the end of the term before my exams start (in little over a monthL). The weekend isn’t just your head stuck in a book, thank-goodness, but it also includes outdoor activities. So fingers crossed the rain stays off but no doubt it will pour since I do live in Scotland!!!
The bag…
So the bag that I am taking away with me is my Small hello kitty make up bag, I believe it was from Claire’s ( I’m not quite sure it was a Christmas present).
I am taking away the products that I use on a daily basis and know that I will need.
The first thing I am taking with me is my beloved sudocream as my face has broken out due to the stress this week L. I use my sudocream as a moisturiser at the minuet as well so it’s a must have for me.
My second product is my “TRESemme Instrant refresh dry shampoo” I have very oily hair and use this every second day rather than wash my hair every day because that damages it. I really love this dry shampoo it smells really nice and after trying it last year have used it ever since.
I can’t live without my hand food (SERIEOUSLY!)  so of course it is coming along with me.
As I am away for the weekend I am obviously taking my toothbrush, and deodorant and my olay wipes.
Since it’s only a night and an activities weekend I have decided against taking my hair straighteners and just taking a few bobby pins and hair bands instead. So that I can pin it up out of my way.

So make up wise I’m just taking away my make-up which I use every day.
and thats about me!
I better go do the rest of my packing and have a nice relaxing friday night! :) I will try and update sunday...if i'm still awake that is!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend, my lovely’s and remeber feel free to email me with tips and feedback!
Lots of Love

Febuary Favourites

Hello my lovely's!

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in over two weeks but I have been super busy!
I have been running around like mad with a pile of homework and exams to study for :( I'm going to try and update and write a blog hopefully every day that I can.

I thought that I would do a February Favourite as it was the first month that I started blogging!

Favourite 1: Blogging!

So last month started me on my blogging adventure! And I must say I've really enjoyed getting into writing reviews and seeing my followers increase, It's a really nice feeling knowing people from all over read what I have been writing!
So thank you to all my lovely followers <3

Favourite 2: The Beautiful Adele

With the Grammy's and the Brit's this month it’s safe to say Adele is loved by all! I absolutely love the girl she’s such an inspiration to so many young girls as her music is beautiful and has a message in her lyrics about love. What inspires me the most about Adele would be her size, she’s not size 0; she’s size perfect in my opinion. I am nowhere near a size 0 and I find when flicking through magazines it’s hard to find your average size woman unless they are being slated for carrying an extra bit of weight this is why Adele would be one of my idols as she's comfortable with her weight yet still looks amazing!

Favourite 3: My Hand food
I have been using soap and glory hand food for over 6 months now and still love it! I first came across hand food years ago whilst on a holiday, I was on a cruise that not many children were on so I attended every activity that I could to try and meet a few new people. I attended a makeover class for the cruise gala night, the girl who runs the activity was one of the young excursions hosts she explained how we should take care of our body by using moisturisers and hand creams. She used soap and glory’s hand cream but it was only last year that I discovered it again as this cruise was over 3 years ago and I was not as into fashion and beauty back then.
I came across hand food whilst watching my favourite beauty blogger/vlogger on YouTube, Fleur de force...CHECK her out I love her she's amazing and gives amazing beauty tips and her style is lovely.

Favourite 4: The Hunger Games
I don't usually read the book of films before the 1st one comes out but I made an exception for this particular series and I'm glad I have!
I didn't understand what all the hype was about until I decided to sit down and read the book that’s been lying on my bookshelf for over a few months (no joke!) I bought the book back in December whilst preparing for my house getting done up but it managed to find its way into a box along with all my others and it found its way back and after hearing so much about it I had to start reading it.
I am now hooked and am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the movie as I make my way through the rest of the novels, I am now on the second book - Catching fire just about to move on to mocking jay and I don't want these books to end!
Well that’s all for my favourites this month, hope you all had a lovely weekend and remember don't forget to email and post comments for feedback!

Love
Meghan
